Abstract

The county boundaries of Hertfordshire have remained largely unaffected by the local government reorganisations of recent years, the only significant change being the loss of Barnet which has now become part of the adjoining area of Greater London. Potters Bar, formerly part of the County of Middlesex, has been received in exchange.
