Abstract

In recent years there has been great interest in group behaviour, especially in relation to the management of organisations. To study group behaviour we can define a group as a number of people who meet regularly and who see themselves as part of a group, distinct from other people. A great deal depends on the ability of such groups to work effectively together, either through meetings, discussions or simply in the day-to-day business of getting things done.
