Abstract

Bath, England’s Georgian jewel, still retains much of the elegance which made it a favourite spa and watering hole for the gentry and nobility. The grand Pump Room, the Roman baths, and the Royal Crescent now attract the curious in addition to the wealthy, but even the summer crowds cannot diminish the gentility of the city
