Abstract

The local media were seen as an important mediator of alcohol-related knowledge, opinions and modes of thinking. For that reason the representatives of the local media were involved in the project intervention as much as possible. Local press-conferences were arranged as a part of each significant happening. All in all, 14 small conferences were arranged. Some individuals from each media channel became familiar to the project group. Media representatives were also involved in the study on key influentials (see Chapter 4).
