Abstract
The Duke of Norfolk has been put into the Ministry; Mr Matthews has been made a Peer of the Realm; and the Roman Catholic Bishops in ail parts of the country have issued instructions to their flocks that they are to vote for the clerical candidates. The alliance between Romanism and Conservatism is complete.
