Abstract
A possible step in unfolding the ethic contained in solidarity is to clarify some of its surroundings. Thought and action that reflect solidarity presuppose a conception of life-quality or happiness. But they also assume a sure foundation in the person concerned, the substratum from which they derive nourishment. First, the foundation. Let us consider an example.
