Abstract

In an engineering department genuinely committed to CAD, failure of the system will not just be a nuisance but it can cause the work of the department to come to a halt. As a consequence, any feature or facility which reduces the chance of the installation failing, or even shortens the period for which it is out of action should it fail, is very important.
