Abstract
In Chapter 37 we shall be studying a number of ‘supply-side’ policies. We shall draw on material already covered in earlier chapters in the book, and in particular it would be useful for you to have a clear understanding of labour markets and collective bargaining (Chapter 14), the theory of taxation (Chapter 35), enterprise (Chapter 15), monopoly, oligopoly and ‘contestable markets’ (Chapters 11, and 13) and aggregate supply (Chapter 22).
