Abstract

Land is often discussed in connection with the law of diminishing returns, which we covered in Chapter 7, and with economic rent, which we deal with in Chapter 18. Capital accumulation is important in influencing the standard of living and we discuss the importance of this in Chapters 18, 36 and 38.
