Improving Access to Administration in Spain
After the death of Franco, public interest which had been germinating for some time overflowed into the streets with the movement for civil rights, political freedom and justice for the historical regions of Spain. The question of ‘nationalism’ came to the fore. In the subsequent twelve years, Spain has moved towards new forms of state organisation, giving autonomy to different regions by different paths. Regions have obtained self-governing capacities in different degrees and with different levels of responsibility for transferred services.
