Abstract
It is neither conceptually nor empirically necessary that multinational corporations be huge or enormously wealthy. Numerous middling and small enterprises are happily and profitably engaged in multinational commerce. Moreover, as the global economy becomes more tightly integrated and homogeneous, business enterprises of all sizes and configurations will seek opportunity in the world market.
