How Demand is Put to the Industry

Abstract

In order to appreciate the reaction of the industry to the demands upon it, it is necessary to understand the way in which the demand is placed. In this chapter a brief description of the process will be given with emphasis on those aspects which affect the type of theoretical analysis required to understand the behaviour of construction firms.
