Abstract

Fractures of the shafts of the radius and ulna are very common. They are probably the most usual forearm injuries to present in the casualty departments. Other quite common regions of the forearm bones to present with fractures are:

the olecranon process the coronoid process the head of the radius the uppermost third of the ulna with dislocation of the head of the radius the lower end of the radius
