Abstract

The ability of computers to perform repetitive calculations for as long as is required — perhaps thousands of times — is of great value in many programming situations. BASIC helps us to do these by supplying instructions which set up a loop of calculations for us. These are called FOR … NEXT … loop instructions and are in the form of a pair of instructions.
