Abstract
Recent literature on economic development strategy has shown increasing interest in the relation between income distribution, growth and employment.
This paper was written in the framework of an ongoing study on income distribution and employment in Malaysia undertaken for the Income Distribution and International Employment Policies Branch in the Employment and Development Department of the International Labour Office.
