The role of the Disablement Resettlement Officer

  • Derek Willcocks
Part of the Progress in Rehabilitation book series (PRORE)

Over the past 30 years the government employment policies for disabled people have been based on the principle that, given the right sort of support services, most disabled people can compete for jobs on equal terms with anyone else. The provision of specialised services for disabled people is a very important part of the Manpower Services Commission’s work, and a substantial share of its resources is devoted to this field.
