Colour Correction

  • Daniel Galvin

Abstract

OCCASIONALLY, a client comes into the salon with a heavy deposit of artificial pigmentation in her hair. In these cases, I prefer to use a highlifting, colourless tint rather than strip the colour out with bleach to make it one or two shades lighter. The result is a softer colour effect and it is kinder to the hair. This method is also useful when treating hairlines that ‘grab’ colour.
