Abstract

Public boards of a commercial character are defined by the Treasury as the boards of undertakings which are empowered by statute to engage in substantial trading operations. Nationalised industries are included in this category, but so are a number of other bodies listed on p. 330. Public boards of a non-commercial category are given on pp. 330-.
