Abstract

This unit tackles one branch of the science of genetics. Another, molecular genetics, is introduced in Unit 7. It is most important that you have a clear understanding of sexual life cycles and cell division (Unit 11) before you study this unit. A basic understanding of natural selection (Unit 2) would also be helpful.
