Abstract

Delphi differs from many other programming languages in that it is event driven where the execution of a program is defined by the events that happen. This is a different approach to many programming languages which follow a defined sequence of execution and the programmer must develop routines which react to events. This chapter discusses the events that happen in Delphi.
