Abstract
Dr Saul and Partners were chosen as one of the eight national pilot sites for nurse prescribing in May 1994. The commitment to the cause of nurse prescribing and the willingness to participate in data collection and evaluation at all stages were essential criteria for selection for the pilot sites (DoH 1989).
