Abstract
In all the examples considered so far, input data has been entered at the keyboard and output from the program has been displayed on the monitor screen. However, instead of entering data at the keyboard, we could store the data in a disk file and use this as the input to our program. Also, instead of displaying data on the monitor screen, the program could write the data to a disk file which could be read by the user or processed later by another program.
