Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to examine the interplay of law and ethics in the context of the international law of trade and its relationship with domestic environmental laws. It will primarily focus on a case study, namely a dispute over attempts by the USA to protect dolphins from certain tuna fishing practices by using import bans and restricting the right to use eco-labelling.
