Abstract
For an overall view of the subject of the integration of the Holocaust survivors, the following three issues have to be examined:
-
(a)
Did the Holocaust survivors express their opinion on the way in which the Yishuv should have integrated them?
-
(b)
Did those involved in integration understand their point of view and try to fulfil it?
-
(c)
To what extent did the immigrant Holocaust survivors make an impression, as a community and as individuals, on Israeli society?
