Abstract

’Ways and means’ is an old expression that refers to the method of achieving something. In Parliamentary terms it applies to the providing of money. In this chapter we provide samples of the sort of reading material that is a requirement for the English Language examination; examples of how they can be approached; opportunities to achieve what is required; and ways and means of working things out. Money may not be the direct product of success in this area, but skills and qualifications are usually rewarded.
