Abstract
Review and evaluation are two important processes that have a key role to play in maintaining professional standards and helping workers to improve their practice. Both are closely linked with assessment as they continue the process that assessment initiates. While assessment is geared towards identifying what needs to be achieved, both review and evaluation consider the extent to which it has been achieved.
