Abstract
Many courses, whether for academic or professional qualifications, require project work. Each project is a unique piece of work, chosen by the individual and worked on independently. To complete a good project is a very satisfying achievement. Starting a project can, however feel very daunting, especially to those returning to study after some years out of school. The following pages offer some guidelines to writing and researching projects in social welfare.
