Abstract
Economic matters receive more frequent and more thorough treatment in print journalism and on television than used to be the case. You might therefore believe that the public is today better able to know the truth about current business and political trends.
This essay collects some of my remarks published on various occasions in the Italian daily newspaper Il Messaggero.
