Abstract
New students are often attracted to psychology courses because they offer the opportunity to carry out simple investigations that provide first-hand experience of studying human behaviour. Presenting the findings of such exercises tends to follow a well-established and accepted pattern, but one that can nevertheless give newcomers to the subject cause for concern. This chapter will attempt to guide the student through the conventional format and hopefully make the writing of practical reports a relatively straightforward task.
