Abstract

The study of rectangular waves is closely linked with that of the frequency response of amplifiers, as the performance of an amplifier can be measured by analysing its response to the application of a step voltage input. In this chapter the parameters of a rectangular wave will be examined, and the relationships between rise time and f2 and ‘sag’ and f1 will be introduced and evaluated.
