Abstract

In the earlier chapters we have examined in some detail the component parts of conflict. We now know that there are many aspects to contention between the parties on a construction project. Identified in our reading so far have been three main areas of conflict, namely:

  • A conflict arising from differing interests or positions.

  • An internal conflict arising from a breach of values.

  • A conflict of personalities or of individuals.
