Abstract

So far, we have considered financial accounting, which is concerned with recording all historical financial transactions and presenting them to shareholders and other interested parties, usually in the form of a set of annual accounts. As a result, many people see the role of financial accounting as that of a steward who looks after and reports on the financial affairs of the business.
