Abstract
There are now a number of “packages” that combine all the features of several different programs. This allows a user to incorporate data from, say, a spreadsheet very simply into a report generated by a word processor without a lot of changing of programs. As you will see in this chapter, it is a very simple task to produce a complex document containing a number of separate parts. Two the programs of this type are Symphony and Framework. An earlier type of integrated program was T/Maker which was described in Chapter 5 of the first edition of Mastering Word Processing.
