An Intelligent Inspection Planning Environment Linked to Feature-Based Geometric Modeller

  • Chapter
Proceedings of the Twenty-Ninth International Matador Conference

Abstract

This paper, from the viewpoints of integration and intelligence, introduces an intelligent inspection planning environment linked to the feature-based geometric modeller. Feature-based geometric modeller is used as a CAD environment for the generation of part frame-network models. At the same time, a hierarchical problem-solving model of inspection planning is put forward. Correspondent software package based on above methodology has been developed with C language.
