Abstract

Experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) has been studied as experimental model for human primary demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis. There are a number of experimental data indicating altered function of the blood-brain barrier (BBB) during the acute and chronic-relapsing forms of EAE (Bradbury, 1989).
