Abstract
Public awareness of fraud has grown in recent years. In general, commercial fraud covers a multitude of sins such as: obtaining credit without intending to pay; obtaining money through mail-order business without delivering the goods; obtaining money with promises to invest it and not doing so; obtaining money by computer fraud; and insider dealing. It becomes ‘corporate crime’ when business people deceive other businesses or the tax authorities or investors.
