Abstract
As well as the processes mentioned in Chapters 6–9 there are a multitude of other manufacturing processes widely used in industry today. Some of these are briefly described in this chapter. It is not possible for anyone to be an expert on all manufacturing processes, there is simply too much to learn and too many developments occurring for an individual to be familiar with everything. This chapter is therefore simply intended to provide an introduction to some additional processes a good designer, manufacturing engineer, or industrial manager, should be aware of.
