Abstract
This chapter will focus on the issue of female sexuality as encountered within a clinical psychologist’s experience – in terms of both theory and practice. My extensive involvement in the treatment of psychosexual problems (male and female) has supported my belief that there is a very close relationship between sexuality, general well-being and psychological adjustment. Consequently, it is felt that this contribution should fit in well with the book’s aim of addressing the various psychological facets of women’s health and health care.
