Heat and Change Of State
If a large saucepan full of water is heated and a small saucepan full of water is supplied with the same amount of heat energy, then the temperature of the water in the smaller saucepan rises more than the temperature of the water in the large saucepan. Heat is a form of energy (unit: J) and temperature is the degree of hotness (unit: °C or K).
