Sources and Contents of Information: Pre-Glass—Steagall

Abstract

It is important for two reasons to identify all the sources of information on which historians, economists, legal scholars and others rely. First, we must satisfy readers’ concerns that something significant was not left out. Second, some sources that have been cited actually do not contain information that speaks to the issues in question.
