Abstract

The proper joining of parts or materials is essential in the construction of a modern motor-vehicle. The parts may be fabrications such as vehicle bodies, assembled units of engines and gearboxes etc. The choice of joining will be by the best and most economical method possible. TEN methods are listed below. Give motor-vehicle examples of where such joining occurs.
