At the end of this chapter you should be able to:

  • • Discuss the factors to be considered when choosing an office computer system.

  • • Discuss the management problems inherent in the introduction and subsequent successful day-to-day operation of an office computer system.

  • • Develop a management and training strategy to enable new systems to be introduced as painlessly as possible.
