Abstract

In this lesson you will learn to:

  • * use DOS file names

  • * recognise file name extensions

  • * use the DIR command

  • * change the logged disk drive

  • * use wildcards

First of all boot up your Personal Computer and if you are using a system with floppy disks and no hard disk leave the system disk in drive A. When all the technical information has been displayed on the screen eventually you will see either the prompt
