Abstract
The commands relate to files with either a .EXE or .COM extension. They can only be used if they exist on a disk accessible to DOS. Each is a separate program that can be run simply by keying in the file name. In other words if you have a twin floppy drive system then if the master DOS disk is in drive A you can run one of these by keying in the file name. If you have a hard disk then the files must be in the current directory. If by any chance the file is in another directory then you have to prefix the file name with its directory path name. For example, if you are in a directory called WP and the CHKDSK file is in the root directory then the command would be
