Abstract

Jane had taken an overdose of paracetamol after becoming depressed at not being able to cope at home. Some of the problems associated with overdose patients are outlined. Description of the expected outcomes and interventions for these are required, together with suggestions on how to assist fane’s family to accept what has happened in order to give her the support that she needs; the answers are at the end of the chapter.
