Abstract

Three programs are listed in this chapter. All are similar in construction, but different in the filing structures that they illustrate. The first program produces a serial database for names and addresses. The procedures it uses are developments of those used as examples in the previous chapter, and you may find it useful to refer to those examples where the basic ‘meat’ of the technique has here been obscured by frills. The subsequent programs build on these procedures, adapted where necessary, but the basic structure has been maintained wherever possible.
