Abstract

The BBC microcomputer gains much from the addition of a disc interface and drives. Despite the cost involved, the added speed and flexibility are a considerable enhancement to an already versatile system. Yet for the home user, the doubling of outlay may seem difficult to justify. Like all hobbies, logic is not, in many cases, an overriding factor in the decision to buy.
