The New Abbey Theatre

  • Walter Macken
Part of the Interviews and Recollections book series (IR)

Abstract

My feelings about this appointment are mixed. As a writer who has lived for fifteen years in the West1 it is quite a wrench to go and live again in a city. On the other hand, anyone who has ever worked for the Abbey will tell you of the sort of disease it engenders, a sort of love-hate relationship.
