Abstract
The essay problems singled out for discussion in this chapter are those most frequently identified in examiners’ reports as causes of poor performance. The notes and outline answers suggesting ways of solving those problems are strictly practical applications of the detailed advice on question analysis and answer planning provided in earlier chapters.
