Abstract
The first chapter of this book gave an overview of the operation of a microcomputer system and the subsequent chapters have dealt with particular aspects of the system in some detail. It is important to stress that the power and complexity of the computer lies in its enormous versatility, it can be used both to run existing programs or to develop new ones. More importantly from a new user’s viewpoint, the complexity may be minimised by providing a package geared to a specific task.
